Earlham has a national reputation for training outstanding outdoor educators. The unique combination of on-campus courses, field experiences and leadership practicums provides an excellent opportunity for development of both technical and interpersonal skills. Graduates have gone on to careers in environmental education, park management, wilderness guiding, and youth social owkr. Recent Earlham alumni have found work with Outward Bound, the Student Conservation Association, the National Park Service, and a variety of public and independent school settings.

http://www.nols.edu/alumni/employment/jobsnetwork.archive.shtml : This list serve is the best thing in the world if you are trying to find employment as an outdoor educator. Its technically supposed to be for NOLS alumni but you can sign up for it regardless. They send out an email daily with new jobs. Most of them are wilderness guide/instructor jobs.
http://outdoored.com/Jobs/oe/Search.aspx : This job search is a great resource. Don't bother entering in any criteria because there aren't that many jobs to look through (usually a few pages of current ones and some older postings). Follow the links on postings that direct you to the actual job description, sometimes outdoored.com slims them down.
http://www.backdoorjobs.com/ : This site is a pretty user-friendly job board. It's got a blend of conservation and outdoor education Jobs. Its a great place to start investigating wilderness therapy jobs.
http://www.coolworks.com/ : This site is a bit overly flashy and romanticizes the jobs it posts, but convenient trick is that you can search by season (and therefore look for winter jobs).
American Camp Association: Year-Round Camp Jobs
http://www.acacamps.org/sites/default/files/jobs/current.htm : This site posts any year-round jobs at camps that are a part of the ACA. There are a lot of administrative and maintenance positions, but there are also usually a few “Outdoor Educator” jobs listed under the Activity Specialist heading.

Conservation and Field Science Jobs
http://www.corpsnetwork.org : This site has a listing of every single conservation corps in the country. You can browse by location or jump over to the job postings and see which corps are currently hiring. Not all corps jobs are necessarily field based, but most are. This is a great first stop if you are interested in doing conservation work – use it as a conduit to get more info about which Corps are hiring where and then investigate the individual corps themselves.
The Student Conservation Association
http://www.thesca.org/ : The SCA is the largest conservation non-profit organization in the country. It takes a while to get yourself acquainted with their website, but once you've created a MySCA account and updated your applications you can apply to internships all at once. One thing to note is that the internships tend to be pretty competitive and they only send out your application to the partners if they think you're qualified. The corps programs they offer are typically easier to get into, but you may have to dig around on their site to find them.

Treehugger Job Board
http://www.treehugger.com/ : Focused on sustainable energy jobs. Most of them are not entry-level, but they do post a few internships.
The Nature Conservancy
https://careers.nature.org : The Nature Conservancy is a private charitable conservation organization. They have nature preserves all over the country. They tend to have many jobs available at any given time.
