The Environmental Leadership Program is located on the second floor of Dennis Hall in the Environmental Offices Suite. We are here to help you integrate sustainability into the education and resources you provide for your residents. Feel free to stop by anytime with questions, we're excited to get to know you! Learn more about us here, and explore this website to get great ideas for sustainability programming.
Here are some ideas for programs you can offer for your residents and ways to incorporate sustainability into residential education:
Invite the Student Sustainability Corps to come to your program and play fun games with your residents to teach recycling skills!
Compost- What's that?
Invite the Student Sustainability Corps to present on the Earlham compost system, compost samples will be provided!
Energy Saving Every Day!
A great program to offer during the annual Energy Wars (but also any time of year), Student Sustainability Corps members are ready to play energy conservation trivia and demonstrate how to save energy in your dorm room.
Host a No Waste party
Invite your residents to join you in planning and hosting a zero-waste (i.e. everything you use gets recycled or composted) party in your kitchen! Student Sustainability Corps students can help out if you'd like!
Attend a Sustainability Event as a hall
Get your residents pumped about sustainability on campus by going to a Sustainability Office event as a group- from film screenings to speakers and everything in between, there's bound to be an event to please your crowd! Check out our events on our Facebook page.
