Residence halls

The traditional residence hall experience offers you the chance to live in a diverse community of your peers as you learn what it means to live on your own. Each of our residence halls features a wide-range of community space balanced with the privacy and security we all want in our home. There are several different types of living spaces to choose from: traditional single, double and triple rooms as well as hybrid suite-style rooms. Earlham College has been providing on-campus housing in its residence hall spaces since its founding over 150 years ago. Living within the residence halls is an important part of the education and experience as an Earlham College student.

Barrett Hall

Barrett Hall is a co-ed residence hall that can house up to 144 students. The hall features a full kitchen on every floor equipped with microwaves, full-size refrigerators, stoves, sinks, counter-space and some individual storage units. It also includes laundry units on every floor and a TV lounge.

Bundy Hall

Built in 1907 and remodeled in 1995, Bundy Hall is one of our first-year residence halls. The second floor of Bundy is home to the Culture and Languages First-Year Experience community.

Earlham Hall

Earlham Hall is the central hub of campus. Originally built in 1855, it was mostly destroyed in a fire and rebuilt in 1957. You can find the Offices of Student Life and Residence Life on its main floor, and it’s connected to the dining hall and Runyan Center—a great perk for residents on rainy and snowy Midwestern days!

Mills Hall

Mills Hall is a co-ed residence hall that can house up to 132 students. The hall features three full kitchens, conveniently located on each floor and equipped with microwaves, full-size refrigerators, stoves, sinks, counter-space and some individual storage units. There are also laundry units and a TV lounge on each floor.

Olvey-Andis Hall

Built in 1949 and remodeled in 2007, Olvey-Andis Hall is conveniently located near both the library and the dining hall on campus.

Warren Hall

Warren Hall is a co-ed residence hall that can house up to 93 students. The hall features one conveniently located full kitchen equipped with microwaves, full-size refrigerators, stoves, sinks, counter-space and some individual storage units. There is a laundry room on the first floor and a TV lounge.
