In the summer months, Earlham College opens up its campus to conferences and camps. These range from basketball camp to quaker yearly meetings to band camp to family reunions. Conferences are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis so contact the director of student activities as early as possible to secure your particular dates. Most conference guests stay overnight in our residence halls, eat at our dining hall, and use our facilities.
We have 8 residence halls ranging in available size and spaces. Your conference would stay in the residence hall that would best fit your size and needs. There are single, double, and triple rooms available, men and women’s bathrooms on every floor, and a common area in each hall.
Metz Culinary Management is our food service provider. They serve a variety of foods with vegetarian and vegan options and the soup and salad bar is always available. Metz can provide a wide selection of catered options for you program.
We can reserve any available room for your conference. There are rooms that fit 6 people and rooms that fit 150. Some of our classrooms are state of the art interactive spaces.
If you need a TV or a movie screen, a projector, or a power point set-up, our Media Resources department can take care of your needs. Upon your request they can provide technical support for you entire event.
Your conference can use our Wellness Center while on campus. It has large gyms, a weight/exercise room, and a pool. You could even rent the rock wall too!
If your conference needs green space, we have it. We have soccer fields, practice fields, and more. We can even have your field lined if needed.
Parking for the summer months is open to the public. Tickets will not be issued for those cars parked in non-marked spots.
