Biography

Ferit Güven specializes in 19th and 20th century continental philosophy, social and political philosophy, and postcolonial theory. For a May Term on “the roots of Otherness in philosophy,” Ferit traveled with students to his home country of Turkey. He published Madness and Death in Philosophy in 2005, and is currently writing Decolonization of Democracy.
