The 12th Annual Summer Institute

Doing More of What Works:
Using High-Impact Teaching Practices to Enhance Student Learning

June 17 - 19, 2014
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Earlham College
Richmond, Indiana

This year’s Summer Institute will continue to build on a theme we began last year: good teachers and good teaching – how to celebrate the good teaching that is happening and build it for even more success. This year we will also feature sessions on topics of interest to area teachers including the power of a growth mindset and high-impact instructional practices. There will also be ample time for educators to pursue topics of personal interest and their own questions.

These three days will focus on:

  • Finding high-impact practices that enhance student learning
  • Learning how a growth mindset can unleash your student’s potential
  • Using data to improve student achievement
  • Renewing the passion that brought you to education in the first place

If you wish to participate in the summer institute but do not wish to earn college credit the cost for the three-day institute is $75 or $30 for a single day. You will earn hours that may be part of your professional growth points toward license renewal in Indiana. Graduate credit is also available.
