Annual Open House

Interested in the behind the scenes workings of a natural science museum? Our museum collections are only open one day a year to the public--Saturday, February 28th, 10am-5pm. Learn about how we use natural history specimens for research and teaching, see a demo on museum specimen preparation, and participate in our digital collections project. There  will be activities for kids of all ages, including adults. Dig for fossils, eat insects, have your face painted, meet our live animals, make animal tracks at our newest exhibit, hear about our mummy's mysteries, see a planetarium show, hear campus acapella group New Measures perform, and Moore!
