I am an active member of the outdoor community on campus and enjoy living in Foster House.
I am taking variety of classes this semester ranging from an independent study in philosophy to advanced organic chemistry
I enjoy attending Earlham due its Quaker values and the dedication and passion that my peers and I share for our education.
For the first eight weeks of this summer I am working in a laboratory research program at the Ministry of Science in Thailand. Following that I plan to move to Chapel Hill, NC for the rest of the summer.
At the moment I am currently looking at jobs in the field of outdoor education or recreation.
I have not participated in an off campus program while attending Earlham, but after my freshman year I took a year off and traveled to Peru where I studied to teach English. While there I loved listening and learning from people who came from a such a different cultural background and spent a great deal of time backpacking around the Andes with friends from the local community.
