Where do you live on campus? Why do you like it?

I live on campus, in Earlham Hall! I enjoy living here because it allows me to remain immersed in the school's community! (Also, it's the one dorm that's connected to the dining hall, so when it's cold out, I don't have to suffer).

Tell us about your classes this semester. Which are your favorites and why?

I'm currently taking Ecological Biology, Spanish 346, Yoga, and Environmental Racism & Community Health. I enjoy all of my classes, but I would have to say Environmental Racism is my favorite because I am learning about an issue that I feel isn't highlighted enough: corporations polluting residential areas and how race comes into play with tackling this issue!

Why do you like Earlham?

I love Earlham because it’s a diverse place where I've been able to pursue my passions and foster friendships with people from all over the country and world, all while being in Indiana (a place completely different from my home state of CA).

What are your plans for winter/summer break?

For winter break, I plan to catch up with friends and family whom I've missed dearly. For summer break, I plan to conduct research with an Earlham professor in the biology department through the McNair program!

What are your plans post-Earlham?

I hope to pursue a career in medicine, as of now I aim to work in the Emergency Room! Medicine is a passion of mine, largely because of the fact that my mother disabled. I understood at a young age that medicine has a huge influence on people's lives and I aspire to be part of said influence, in a positive manner.
