Summer Program

AUGUST WILDERNESS (3 credits)
August Wilderness is an outdoor pre-orientation program that combines active, physical challenge with study, observation and personal reflection. Coursework in the history, geology and ecology of the area is combined with facilitated discussions on such topics as leadership, decision-making, communication and conflict resolution. Readings, journal writing, skills assessments and essay assignments provide the basis for academic credit.
