The Board of Trustees decided at its October 2011 meeting to break ground on new facilities for both the sciences and visual & performing arts as soon as possible. Board Chair Debbie Hull said the Trustees had reached “enthusiastic consensus” to move forward with both projects.
Renovations of Stanley Hall began in May 2012 and should conclude in July 2014. The College broke ground on the new arts building in February 2013.
In February 2012, the board approved plans to renovate Tyler Hall to serve as a "welcome center." President David Dawson says the newly renovated Tyler will bring together the admissions, financial aid, and marketing/communications operations of the College.
Vice President for Institutional Advancement Jim McKey ’78 notes that fundraising to support all building projects will continue.
