SUMMER GROUP FITNESS: 




Will begin May 7 through August 18, 2018

 

There are no Sunday classes at this time. Please check back as the schedule may change. 

 

All classes are canceled Monday, December 25th.

Class Descriptions

Spinning: Is a unique indoor stationary cycling program that is one of the hottest classes in the local community. This class is for people of all ages and fitness levels and is NOT just a "hard-core" fitness program for elite athletes. Although not required, bring your bike shorts, hand towel, and water bottle for this class. *Limited to 20 patrons. 

Water Fitness: An upright pool workout that focuses on aerobic intensity and muscle toning. Swimming itself is not included in the workout. Join us for a low - to no - impact workout!

Interval Training: This class alternates high intensity bursts of cardio with body sculpting exercises. The ultimate body-shaping, fat-burning, and strength training class!

Yoga: Combines the best of Yoga flow (Vinyasa) and core workout, to strengthen the core while lengthening and invigorating the entire body. These classes are mixed level - the instructor offers options for both beginners and seasoned students in the same class, in an ongoing flow of movement. You can make the class just the right level of challenge and ease that you need each day. You will soon notice changes in what you can do and how you feel!

Deep Water Fitness: Same as the ever popular Water Fitness class; however, this class is taught predominantly in the deep water of the pool. Swimming itself is not included in the workout.

Zumba: Fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be FUN and ENERGIZING. Routines feature interval training sessions, with fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat. Workout, get hooked, and experience an exhilarating hour of calorie burning!

Yoga: Combines the best of Yoga flow (Vinyasa) and core workout, to strengthen the core while lengthening and invigorating the entire body. Guts, Butts, Thighs:  Sculpt, shape, and strengthen your core, glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves in this 45-minute workout. Various exercises, equipment and techniques will be used. Intervals of high intensity cardio and strengthening and toing will be sure to get your heart pumping and muscles burning! This class is mixed level, everyone is welcome.

This class is for people of all ages and fitness levels and is NOT just a "hard core" fitness program for elite athletes. Although not required, bring your bike shorts, towel, and water bottle for this class. *Limited to 20 patrons.

STRONG by Zumba: combines upbeat rhythms with high intensity cardio and strength conditioning moves to fire your fitness level up a notch. The class includes plyometrics, core and functional training using your body weight as resistance. The class incorporates the proven high intensity interval training method known as HIIT, while adding tempo. Exercise selections can be modified to make the class accessible for the less conditioned participant as well as push a well-conditioned participant.

Please note: The Parent & Me class will only meet for 4 lessons

Cost: $50.00 - $80.00 for a full session

Adults may swim with children during the practice time if they are members or they may purchase a day pass.

Beginner

Swimmers ages 4 and up, with little swimming skills.

Level 2: Intermediate 1

Swimmers able to float on front and back, submerges and makes forward progress with arms.

Level 3: Intermdiate 2

Swimmers able to swim freestyle and backstroke for a minimum of 5 yards. Able to use side breathing when on front.

Level 4: Advanced

Swimmers able to swim the whole length of the pool in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke.
Available as a short class for 45 minutes or a long class for 60 minutes.

 

PLEASE NOTE: All classes are subject to minimum enrollment and will be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met.
