Carrie Seltzer '04

Carrie _seltzerCarrie Seltzer '04 majored in Biology. As a student, she studied abroad in the Galapagos and Kenya, worked at the Joseph Moore Museum, served as a member of barn staff at the EC Stables, played frisbee, and choreographed and danced in Dance Alloy.

She began her PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago in fall 2007 and expects to finish in 2013. Her research is about the ecology of seed dispersal in Tanzania (inspired by her time abroad in Kenya).

The opportunities she had at Earlham helped her develop leadership skills and confidence in many different settings. Some of her favorite memories from Earlham include working at the barn at all hours and in all weather. She lives in Chicago, IL, with her husband Matt Grosso '04.
