Wright _kirk

Kirk Wright '81 completed a double major in Philosophy and Economics. As a student he was active in WECI radio news and dallied in other student organizations while avoiding any position of leadership or responsibility. Kirk enjoyed foreign study in Mexico and Bogota, Colombia. In 1988 Kirk earned a MBA at the Claremont Graduate University's Drucker School of Management.

After more than a decade in banking Kirk was eager for a career change and pursued entrepreneurial aspirations in the world of Internet software. Since 2001 Kirk has created an outlet for his diverse professional experience and interest in entrepreneurial ventures by advising businesses on strategy, planning and change management. He also serves with various advisory and corporate boards. Kirk and Allison Lew '80 live near Portland, Oregon. They enjoy travel, art, gardening and all forms of food and its creation.

Kirk began his term on the Alumni Council in 2009, and he is currently convener of the Development Committee.
