Bryan Sorrows '87

BryansorrowsBryan Sorrows '87 majored in Computer Science at Earlham.  He is married to Molly Emmons Sorrows '87 and has two children, Elisabeth and Katherine, who are both in the class of 2017.  While at Earlham, Bryan was one of the geeks in the computing center, but feels he had a well rounded experience including a term in London. He took as many religion and philosophy courses as he did from computer science.

Bryan completed a master's degree in Information Science (interdisciplinary combination of cognitive psychology, computer science, and telecommunications) at the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in Carlisle Mass., where he works at home for IBM as a software engineer. In addition, he is a part time firefighter/EMT B for the town of Carlisle. Bryan began his term on the Alumni Council in 2013, and he is currently part of the Marketing Committee. He treasures his Earlham experience and the friends he made while there.
