Career and Community Engagement

The Center for Career and Community Engagement (CCCE) helps students connect theory to practice through reflection and experience. This is where your passion meets your purpose — we help you find ways to take your classroom learning and apply it to real-world situations.

Career Education

At Earlham, Career Education is about more than finding a job — it’s about becoming a socially responsible change-maker in a global economy. Through coaching, networking and real-world experiences, we aim to help students and alumni identify, pursue and develop meaningful careers both in college and beyond.

Community Engagement

ESG Day Of Service 2015 2

Earlham develops leaders who are engaged both locally and globally. We connect students with service opportunities in Richmond and around the globe so you can bring your passions and skills to our communities’ most pressing problems. Whether you’re a first-year seeking to volunteer or a senior looking into post-bac service programs such as the Peace Corps, the CCCE can help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to address a variety of community issues.

Internships

Francesca .Ducanes

We cultivate a culture of discovery that helps students thrive as well-rounded, thoughtful and compassionate leaders who are intent on improving the world. Integral to that culture of discovery is the concept of experiential education — education that moves outside the walls of the classroom and involves students in real-world experiences and problem-solving. At the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Francesca Ducanes ’16 (left) investigated ways to enhance the family experience at exhibits across the picturesque museum located in Indianapolis’ White River State Park.
