Earlham encourages students to develop broad, inquisitive minds to seek the truth in all learning opportunities, and strives to offer as many learning opportunities as possible, both on campus, in the surrounding community and in programs around the globe. The College offers these additional prestigious academic opportunities outside of its curricular programs.
Each year, 25 Earlham McNair Scholars stretch their horizons toward graduate work.
Earlham juniors and seniors have been very successful in achieving recognition and support through nationally competitive grant, fellowship and scholarship programs. Shannon Herbert ‘14 is one of six Earlham recipients of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year.
